He was predeceased by: his parents, Roberta Porter and Carleton Porter; his brother Darrin Porter; and his grandparents, Deane C. Porter, Mariana W. Porter and Charlotte Evangeline Kualii "Eva" Lyman.
He is survived by: his wife Sabrina Porter; his children, Roberta Porter, Troy Porter, Jr. and Donald Gilchrist; his brother Sean Porter; and his grandchildren, Braydn Gilchrist and James Porter.
