With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Peace of Alvord, Texas, who passed away on July 21, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Peace and Christine Peace; and his siblings, Carolyn Hall, Lewis Peace and Charles "Len" Peace.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rice Peace; his son Dean Peace (Lei Ann); and his grandson Lane Peace of Alvord.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in honor of Ben to the First Baptist Church of Alvord Building Fund at P.O. Box 25, Alvord, TX 76225.

“Ben Peace was one of the kindest , sweetest man on earth. He always had a smile on his face even with that big chew of tobacco. I had more fun working with him in my younger years because of his awesome sense of humor. I know his family will miss him dearly and for that I’m sad. However the angels will be laughing all the time. God must have thought heaven needed some reviving. May God be with you guys thru these tough times. Ben until I see you again, live it up!!”
