He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Jaso and Stella Jaso; and his wife Frances. He is survived by: his children, Ismael Jaso of Lubbock, Texas and Lori Kowalik of Florida; his siblings, Daniel Jaso (Margaret) of Dallas, Texas and Margaret Guajardo of Amarillo, Texas; his grandson Andrew Jaso; and his great grandchild Michael Jaso.
