He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Kubena and Cordelia Kubena (Jackson); his wife Phyllis Kubena (Fisher); his daughter Shaunda Lynn Jacobs; his grandson Brandon Long; his siblings, Jim Allen, Bob Allen, Mary Lou Caster and Jean Stephans; and his nephews, Michael Allen and Bill Caster.

He is survived by: his children, Shannon Long (John), Albert III and De'Ann Chavez (Mark); his grandchildren, Corri Spaur (Randall), Krista Nelson (Kameron), La'Sha Chavez (Joshua Martin), Lindsay Kubena, Shaylynn Etchart (Kent), Bailey Chavez, Jace Jacobs (Katelyn) and Kelvin Chavez (Jewel Lamb); his great grandchildren, Gabriel Chavez, Allie Long Spaur of Fabian Chavez, J. J, Anthony Romero, Kason Kinzy, Avea Romero, Kamdyn Nelson, Randilynne Etchard, Ezlyn Chavez, Jaxtyn Jacobs, Judd Jacobs, Ember Spaur and Ava Spaur; and his great great grandchild Xavian Lucero.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Assembly of God Church.
