He is survived by: his children, Christina Salinas, Valerie Salinas, Jerry Rubio, Juan Salinas, Joe Rubio, Santos Salinas and Ralph Salinas; and his siblings, Esperanza Hernadez, Lily Salinas and Roy Salinas. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
