Bernard Joseph McGovern Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on January 1, 2020, at the age of 60, Bernard Joseph McGovern (Amarillo, Texas), born in Towanda, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bernard Joseph McGovern to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William James McGovern and Hope Caro McGovern. He is survived by: his wife Robin Gesford McGovern; his children, Brenda Lynn McGovern and Bryan Keith McGovern; and his siblings, William Jr. McGovern (Peggy McGovern), Robert McGovern (Vicky McGovern) and Linda Rose Henson (Roger Henson). He is also survived by niece and many nephews.

The service will be at 1 pm on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Burial will follow the service at Llano Cemetery, 2900 S Hayes St. In his memory, we ask that any donations be given to St. Jude in his name, as it broke Ben's heart to see the children suffering from cancer when he went for his treatments.
