She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Hill and Rosie Johnson-Hill; and her son Charles Kinder. She is survived by: her husband Ezekiel Bowers; and her children, Shirley Romaine, Earman Gilbreath and Sandra Cleveland. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and a host a family and friends.
