It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Joe Williams of Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Bobby may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Owen Williams, Jr. and Dolly Blassingame Williams. He is survived by: his children, Aaron Brent Williams of Amarillo and Katy Brett Williams of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Zoie Jolene Williams of Amarillo and Matthew Noland of Amarillo; his brother Mitch (Carla Williams) of Lubbock; his nieces, Lindsey and Mesha; his aunt Bonnie Blassingame Newkirk (David); and his pet Lizzy.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (704 S Main St, Vega, TX 79092). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
