He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Oliver and Eva Oliver; his adoptive father Carl Tippin; his wife Martha; his children, Carl Gene Tippin and Jackie Payne (Bruce); his granddaughter Jennifer Payne Cunningham (Jake) of Austin; his brother Ray Oliver; his sister-in-law Louise; and his sister May Tippin. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
