Carla Cay Clift Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carla Cay Clift (Amarillo, Texas), who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Carla Cay farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Carla Cay is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Lavender and Geraldine Lavender; her son Kyle King; her brother Larry Moore; and her nephews, Casey Barton, Scott Moore and Michael Nymeyer.

She is survived by: her sons, Kevin King (Torie Parks) and Kalvin King (Amy); and her sisters, Trina Flores (Thomas), Roxanne Singleton, Denise Anderson and Regina Karl (Mike). She is also survived by her ten grandchildren; and her nieces and nephews.
