Casey leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Casey’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Casey will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pat Barrett and Jim Posey; and her uncle Jimmy Jones. She is survived by: her stepfather Galen Barrett; her sons, Derek Brown (Katelynn), Trey Brown and Caullin Brown; her brothers, Cody Posey (Bonnie), Andy Barrett (Stormy) and Cody Barrett (Whitney); her uncles, Ron Tidmore (Meg) and Dean Barrett (Cathy); and her pet Dakota. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109).
