It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Charles of Amarillo, Texas, born in Caney, Kansas, who passed away on June 3, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Octave Peirre and Zelia Charles (LeRoy); and his siblings, Raymond, Jules, Carl, Earl Edmond, Jean Charles and Earline Outland.

He is survived by: his wife Jan Charles; his daughter Stephanie Ortega (Henry); his grandchildren, Cecily Morris (Clayton) and Luke Ortega; his great grandchildren, Jameson and Caelan Morris; and his close friends, Mathew and Anita Devassy.
