Chad Batterman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chad Batterman of Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on February 17, 2026, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Chad had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Chad may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He is survived by: his parents, David E. Batterman and Gwenda Lou Batterman (Carver); his wife Elizabeth; David L. Batterman (Mary Ann) of Amarillo. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many close friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials in memory of Chad can be given to Harrington Cancer Center, Amarillo, TX.
