He is survived by: his wife Flora Chapa of Amarillo; his son Chris (Cheri Chapa); his grandchildren, Brittany Chapa, Blake (Stasha King) and Sarah King; his great grandchildren, Urijah Chapa, Sofia Chapa, Julian Contreras, Eli Lane, Gemma Alexis, Emmalynn Josie, Lynnlee Alise May and Blakelynn Reese; and his siblings, Ruben (Bonnie Chapa), Beto (Maria Chapa), Mike (Olga Chapa), George (Mary Chapa), Tony (Thelma Chapa), Jeff Chapa (Becky Lane) and Olga (Pete Sarabia). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
