She was predeceased by: her parents, Wheeler Canida and Laura Canida; her daughter Sandra Vernon; and her siblings, James Canida, W. C. Canida, Charles Canida, Joyce Collins and Imogene Merrill.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry Fowler of Memphis, TX and Bobby McCauley (Renee) of Amarillo; and her siblings, Ronald Canida (Cindy) of Dallas and Naydean Wheeler of Amarillo. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
