He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Bernard McGee and Empress McGee; his wife Billie Michaelene McIlroy; and his brothers, James McGee and Charles McGee.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bobby McGee (Darla) and Empress Carol McGee-Miles (George); his daughter Laurie (Ed Jr); his grandsons, Edward Hoisington III (Jessica), Sean Hoisington (Amanda) and Brad Hoisington (Sandra); and his great grandchildren, Parker, Peyton, Edward IV, Ethan, Ian, Beckham and Noah.
