She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Higley and Georgia Higley (McCourt); and her husband Doug Brown. She is survived by: her siblings, Ed Higley (Mike), Tom Higley (Polly) and Charyle Smith (Phil) of Amarillo, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Northlawn Memorial Gardens (6131 FM 119, Dumas, TX 79029).
