He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Jewel Carmichael and Evrett Tirey Hardin; his wife Victoria Nell Hardin; his daughter Holly Susan Bradshaw; his grandson Danny Hardin; and his siblings, Joe Tirey Hardin and T. Ann Hardin.
He is survived by: his sons, Kirk Hardin (Paula Jean) and Joe Hardin (Zeborah); his grandchildren, Lindsay Ferrell (Jimmy), Ty Hardin (Miriam), Sarah Hardin, Hannah Hardin, Suzanne Bradshaw, Victoria Bradshaw, Zanda Byrd (Jason), Z'Ann Allison (Mesa) and Zoe Hardin; his brother Bryan David Hardin; and his great grandchildren, Nick, Madison, Logan Ferrell, Grant, Isaac Hardin, Eddie, Travis Bradshaw, Zaylee and Tex Byrd.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations are made in Dan's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Albuquerque Children's Home, or the Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, Dallas, Texas.
