We announce the death of David Vernon Paetzold of Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on September 21, 2026, at the age of 75. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. David will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. David’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Paetzold and Raymond Paetzold. He is survived by: his wife Alison; his sons, Jay (Ashley) and Russ; his grandsons, Kai and Ryker; and his siblings, Gary (Nancy), John (Beverly) and Susan.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Hillside Christian Church (6100 S Soncy Rd, Amarillo, TX 79119).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hillside Christian Church.
