He was predeceased by: his father Robert Neal Melton. He is survived by: his daughter Denise; his grandchildren, Bryn, Lara, Holly, Nicholas, Brianna, Ryan and Tessa; his wife Shirley; his children, Kristy Gadry (David) and Robert Melton (Lori); his brother Dean Melton (Dorothy); his nephew Dr. Shelby Melton (Jill); and his cousin Teresa Kiker of Tulia.
