He is survived by: his daughter Susan Thate (Trent) of Amarillo, TX; his brothers, Sidney Tolbert of Littleton, CO and Allan Tolbert (Jeanette) of Belton, TX; his grandchildren, Mason Thate (Emma) of Leander, TX and Lindsay Thate of Fort Collins, CO; his great grandchildren, Emmett, Bernadette "Birdie" and Malcolm of Leander, TX; and his siblings' children, Kenneth Tolbert (Christina) of Littleton, CO, Christine Tolbert of Littleton, CO, Kim Pimento of Harker Heights, TX and Amy Pruett of Kerrville, TX..
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109).
