He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Manning and Eldora Manning; his wife Annie Manning; and his daughter Endress Manning. He is survived by: his children, Don Manning Jr., Curtis Manning (Euridee), Tyris Manning (Cheryl), Priscilla Manning and Trina Roberson; and his niece Jaqueline Manning-Simmons. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lagrone Blackburn Funeral Home (Martin Road Chapel) (1505 Martin Rd, Amarillo, TX 79107). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church (1215 N Hughes St, Amarillo, TX 79107). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (6969 E Interstate 40 Hwy, Amarillo, TX 79118).
