It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Goodwin of Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on November 13, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Hillin and Rochelle Goodwin; his wife Ruby; his sister Marlene Sexton (Ralph Sexton); and his nephew Barry Sexton.
He is survived by: his daughter Amy Corser of Atlanta Ga; his granddaughters, Abby and Hope of Atlanta Ga; his nephew Randy Sexton of Richardson; and his stepchildren, Carter Ramzel of San Antonio and Stephnie McGhee of Yuma Az.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109).
The family requests donations be made to a favorite charity in lieu of flowers.
