He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Stratton; his sister Linda Dent of Lubbock; his niece Aleshia Cardenas (Joe); his nephews, John Allen and Jimmy Allen, Jr. (Delilah); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jaylee, Regan, McKinley, Lily, Carine, Marcus and Lincoln.

Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pleasant Valley Assembly of God (4413 Slope Dr, Amarillo, TX 79108). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Pleasant Valley Assembly of God Church (4413 Slope Dr, Amarillo, TX 79108). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Rowe Cemetery.
