She was predeceased by: her parents, L. A. Whitman and Evangeline Whitman; and her husband Bill Vance. She is survived by: her sons, Eddy Vance (Linda) of Amarillo, Bud Vance (Andrea) of Amarillo and Shawn Vance (Daisha) of Amarillo; her grandchildren, Ashley Wingate (Matt), Tyler Vance (Alyssa), Sydni Vance, Will Vance, Maddie Vance, Grace Albrandt (Jordan), Aubrey Vance, Darian Bonney and Hanna Edwards; and her great grandchildren, Lucas, Weston, Brittyn, Kyndall, Brady, Hayes, Aurora, Stella, Sheldon, Brileigh, Liam, Addi and Matthew.
A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel (4180 Canyon Dr, Amarillo, TX 79109).
