Doris Laverne LaQuey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2025, Doris Laverne LaQuey of Amarillo, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, L. D. Huffstutler and Sallie Huffstutler; her husband L. D. LaQuey; her son Jeffrey Mark LaQuey; and her siblings, Truett, Duffie Huffstutler and Mary Helen Faulkner.

She is survived by: her daughter Melissa LaQuey of Amarillo; and her grandchildren, Justin, Calvert, Ashley Quillin, Christopher Calvert and Meagan LaQuey. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Restland Funeral Home - Wildwood Chapel (13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75081). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Restland Cemetery (13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75081).
