She is survived by: her sisters, Velma Samuel of Amarillo, Vickie Woods (Dennis) of Amarillo and Tina Woods of Amarillo; her children, Teresa Faye Simmons, Ronda Gail of Dallas, TX, Michael Kellum (Delilah) of Lubbock, Latham Johnson (Yolanda) of Fort Worth, TX, Danta Johnson, Brandon Johnson of Amarillo and Marcus Johnson (Jennifer) of Yuma, Arizona; her grandchildren, Tristin, Charleston, Cameron, Odie, Charmonte, Natavia, Lakeisia, Latwaunia Simmons, Shasta, Shuntae Martin, David Hase, Hayden Danielson, Aubrielia, Abrian, Dorion, Paige, Desmond, Cinique, Neveah, Dontavion "Tay Tay" Johnson, Crystal Burns and Tovin Campbell; and her great great grandchildren, DeMajinae Darnes, Leontre Hayes and Natalya Simmons (Zaylani). She is also survived by nephews, family, and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church (3100 Angelus Dr, Amarillo, TX 79107). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Bell Avenue Church of Christ (1600 Bell St, Amarillo, TX 79106).
