He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Higdon Sr. and Doris Shaw. He is survived by: his wife Dottie Higdon; his daughters, Tami Sandt (Jason) of Amarillo, Cindy Price of Amarillo, Mandy Kelly (Scott) of Slidell, Renae Lewellyn (Joe) of Amarillo and Luci Mayes (Josh) of Amarillo; his brother Gene Higdon (Cindy); and his grandchildren, Tiffany, Jennifer, Jeff, Megan, Emily, Kristina, Nathaniel, Keagon, Marissa, Taylor, Austin and Masin. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
The family suggest that memorial donations be made to the SPCA of Amarillo or the Shriners Children's Hospital.
