He is survived by: his children, Denise (David Brakey) of Garden City, David (Michelle Henke) of Flower Mound, Doris (Jay Leverett) of Amarillo, Daniel (Lori Henke) of Reeds Spring and Darrin (Mary-Margaret Henke) of Denver; his sisters, Barbara Wagner of Downs and Joyce Henke of Downs; his siblings-in-law, Richard Reinert of Downs, Virginia Johnson of Denver and Evon Henke of Osborne; his grandchildren, Richard Jagels (Tami), Ryan Jagels (Shanna), Danelle Reeves (Jason), Reid Jagels (Danielle), Carson Leverett (Sarah), Brandon Henke (Rachel), Britt Henke, Luke Henke (Rena), Megan Crowe (Landon), John Henke and Michael Henke; and his great grandchildren, Reese, McKenna, Cooper, Jalen, Braden, Jackson, Graysen, Olivia, Wesley, Maggie, Halle and Hayden. He is also survived by many relatives, friends and caregivers.
A rosary will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (4100 Coulter St S, Amarillo, TX 79109).
