We bid farewell to Elaine J McDowell (Amarillo, Texas), born in Greeley, Colorado, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 24, 2025 at the age of 81. Elaine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Elaine has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Lapp and Louise Lapp (Stratman); and her son Charles Case Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Sherri Christensen (JC), Douglas Case and Jennifer Moreno (Ryan); her stepdaughter Valorie Allen; and her sister Norma Ewertz. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers she requests donations to St Jude's.
