She was predeceased by: her parents, Vergie Lee Spear Stallings and Benjamin Harrison Stallings; her siblings, Robert Stallings, Margarette Smith and Kathy Oty; and her grandson Joshua Alderete.
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Wayne Downs; her children, Billy Downs (Deborah), Barbara Downs Alderete (Wesley) and Monty Downs (Robin); and her grandchildren, Kasey Alderete, Ethan Alderete, Christopher Downs, David Downs, Steven Downs and Connor Downs. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to a charity of your choice benefiting children.
