It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Forrest Ricketts of Amarillo, Texas, born in Hereford, Texas, who passed away on December 14, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ricketts and Mary Ricketts (Hershey); his wife Nelda Guy; his brother J. A. Ricketts; and his brother-in-law Lloyd Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Janet Owens (David), Jeff Ricketts (Emma), Sara Wieck (Chris), Celia McCallie (Jack) and Dan Ricketts (Sheila); his siblings, Albert Ricketts (Jean), Mary Beth Smith, Ralph Ricketts (Carmelita) and Fred Ricketts (Sheryl); and his sister-in-law Lotus Ricketts. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
