He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harvey Dawson and Faye Dawson; his grandfather William L; his sister Harriett Watson; his granddaughter Kelli Hicks; his wife Peggy Dawson (Dawson); his daughters, Kema Hicks (Robert) of Tulsa, Christy Hensley (Rex) and Renee Gardner of Amarillo, Texas; his grandchildren, Travis Hicks (Alissa), Marlee Hicks of Tulsa, Keele Bryant, Jordan Baze, Shelby Hensley and Lyndsey Graves of Amarillo, Texas; his great grandchildren, Jadelynn Graves, Oriah, Dax Baker of Amarillo, Chandler and Trey Hicks of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and his brothers, Larry (Sparky) of Arnett and Rooster (Rosie) of Stinnett, Texas..
