He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Norton and Genevieve "Gene" Norton; and his brother Terry Norton. He is survived by: his daughter Jamie Elizabeth Hart; his granddaughter Kaitlyn Elizabeth Arterburn; his son Eric Wayne Norton; and his grandsons, Nicholas Norton and Joshua Norton.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home (5100 Interstate Hwy 30, Greenville, TX 75402). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Prairie Valley Cemetery.
