He is survived by: his stepmother Margarita Rios of Brenes; his siblings, Sara Ramos and Anthony Brenes-Rios; his children, Gilbert Brenes, Michael Brenes, Ronnie Brenes, George Brenes Jr. (Esperanza), Eduardo C. Brenes and Denise Brenes (Christopher); his grandchildren, George Patrick Brenes (Abby), Andrew, Arron, Brandon, Annika, Clarisa, Isabelle and Penelope; and his great grandchildren, Dysire, Aviyana and Adaliyna.
