Gerald Payton Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald Payton (Amarillo, Texas), who passed away on February 23, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Danny Payton and Karon McLain; his aunts and uncles, Arthur Payton, Norma Payton, Marvin Payton, Thelma Payton, Clarence Payton and Fanny Payton; and his parents-in-law, Dorothy and Clarence Jones.

He is survived by: his wife Tresia Jones of Amarillo; his children, Eric Payton of Amarillo and Gennifer Payton-Baston (Odelle) of Stratford; his grandchildren, Kheona Baston, Richard Baston, Trystin Baston, Kamia Baston of Stratford and Trinity Payton of Amarillo; his sister Teresa Pennartz (Jerry) of Harrold; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry McLain of Vernon and Lynne Payton of Wichita Falls. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family would like memorials be made to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
