He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry Hill and Marjorie Cochran Phillips; his former wife Nancy Boxwell Phillips; his wife Madge Moreland Phillips; his children, Burr Phillips (Sheridan) of Stockton, CA and Sydney Phillips Atkinson (David) of Raleigh, NC.; his stepchildren, Melissa Swineheart of Phoenix, AZ and Kent Davis (Lisa); his stepgrandchildren, Ski of Portland, TN and Gabe Irving (Kimberly); Annabel and Hanson of Amarillo. He was also cherished by four nephews and one niece.
