With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Mernice (Carreker) Williams of Amarillo, Texas, born in Shamrock, Texas, who passed away on May 12, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Carreker and Texola Carreker (Clay); her siblings, Frank Carreker Jr. and Marie Johnson; and her daughter Cynthia McClellan.
She is survived by: her husband Albert Carrol Williams; her son Danny Williams (Kim); her grandchildren, Trebor Shaeffer (Rebecca), Michael Williams (Lauren), Ethan Williams (Farrah Walton), Lindsey Davidson (Devin) and Garrett Williams (Skyler Allen); and her great grandchildren, Austin Shaeffer, Cannon Williams, Lylah Williams, Izzy Williams and Wyatt Davidson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials to be sent to BSA Hospice of the Southwest and Westview Christian Church in Amarillo.
