She was predeceased by: her husband James; her son James Jr; her granddaughter Christina E. Smith; her brother Don Howard; her half-siblings, Shirley Howard and James Howard; her son-in-law Garland Ray Melton; Walker, Jr.

She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Glass-Weaver (Wayne) of Amarillo, Sandra Walker (Dennis) of Amarillo and Shawnda Melton Potter (Chris) of Amarillo; her half-brothers, James Fitzsimmons and Lloyd Fitzsimmons; her uncle Albert Taylor; Miranda Blakeney, Michelle Bailey, Martin Blakeney, Jr, Charlie Hart, Joshua Hart, Anthony Melton, Sarah Patton, Shayna Tully, Shyanna Landon and Jessie Melton.
