He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe Lewis and Verma May Witmore Vaughn; his children, Daniel Thomas (Dana) of Amarillo, William Cornelius of Irving, Patrick Cornelius of Dallas, Ty'Lael Cornelius, Skylen Cornelius of Amarillo and Regina Thomas-Tomman (Jeremy) of San Antonio; and his siblings, Andretta "Tad" Poindexter (Earl) of Nashville, Evette Fowler (Dale) of Kansas City, Faye Ozan (George) of Nashville, Jettie Henry of Hope, Joseph Williams (Brenda), Keith Williams of Nashville, Greg Vaughn of Mineral Springs and Howard Gooden of Amarillo. He was also cherished by eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
