He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Leslie and Jewell Mabel Woodrum Banks; and his sisters, Mabel Headrick (Don) and Lula Overstreet (Robert). He is survived by: his brothers, Carl Banks (Janelle) and Willis Eugene; his sister-in-law Reba Banks; his siblings, Leslie Banks (Ruby) of Amarillo and Phyllis Brant of Amarillo; his great-nephew Seth Gibson; his friend James Sharpton (Sharon Croy); and his pet Sugar. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requests memorials be given to the Hardesty Senior Citizens Center.
