James Roy Doche Obituary
We bid farewell to James Roy Doche of Amarillo, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 19, 2025 at the age of 70. James Roy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though James Roy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James Roy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paula Jean Smythe Doche and Frederick Leon Doche; his brother John Doche; and his brother-in-law Dennis Lane. He is survived by: his daughter Whitney Ellison (John); his granddaughter Elizabeth Ellison of San Antonio, TX; his sisters, Melanie Doche, Kim Lane and Kalee Doche; and his nephew Chase Lane.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (1100 S Harrison St, Amarillo, TX 79101).
