He was predeceased by: his parents, Issac Sawatzky and Lena Schapansky; his stepmother Goldie Hiebert; and his sister Velma Heinrichs. He is survived by: his child Jerry; his wife Joyce Elaine Frantz of Amarillo, TX.; and his children, Randy of Denver, CO. and Michelle Slaughter (Kelly) of Moore, OK.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
