He was predeceased by: his parents, Sammy Alcala Sr. and Luz Reynoso Alcala; and his brothers, Sammy Alcala Jr. and Leroy Alcala Sr. Jimmy. He is survived by: his wife Elida Navarrete Alcala; and his siblings, Vicky Valverde, Molly Valverde, Vera Herrera, Marcella Herrera, Debbie Galvan and Eddie Alcala. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
