It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jo McClure Hampton in Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on November 16, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lon Carl and Willie Lee McClure (Drake); and her spouse Jesse Wayne Hampton. She is survived by: her son Jarvis Wayne Hampton (Nancy); her grandchildren, Zachary Hampton and Allison Hampton; her great grandchild Cooper Hampton; her stepgrandchildren, Kristen Terry (John David), Shannon Hamilton (Nathan) and Logan Giles (Teagan); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Evelyn, Charlotte, Kathleen Terry and Kenton Giles; and her sister-in-law Iantha Stevens. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
