He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Burris and Mildred Burris; and his siblings, James Burris, Paul Burris and Martha.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Burris; his daughter Angie Burris of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Anthony Koontz and Alyssa Koontz; his great grandchild Maxdon; and his grandchildren, Guardian Angel and Kris DeWald.
