John Quintana Obituary
We bid farewell to John Quintana of Amarillo, Texas, born in Tucumcari, New Mexico, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 17, 2025 at the age of 69. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to John's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration John has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Quintana and Maria "Mary" Quintana; his brothers, Angel "Uncle Ted" Quintana and Antonio "Tony" Quintana; and his grandchildren, John A. Quintana (Rebbeca) and Laurena Hernandez (Genaro).
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Quintana of Amarillo; and his daughters, Anita Pesqueda (Sam), Lori Ferrell (Marc) and Victoria Ortiz (Anthony). He is also survived by brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel (2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, TX 79109).
