He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ransom and Jewell Ransom; and his siblings, Mennie and Robert E. Ransom. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Ransom; his daughters, Marcella Ray (William), Joannie Ransom and Adrienne Mims (Eric) of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Tiara McCuen (Bryson), Idarius Ray (Audrey), Karien, Anthony, Kiyara, Avery, Aaren, Erin, Kamron of Ajaden, E. J. and Eriess; his great grandchildren, Taylor, Raymond, Teagan and Braxtion; and his siblings, George Ransom of Amarillo, Marvin Ransom of Amarillo, Wilbur Ransom of New Mexico, Elvis Ransom of New Mexico, Dorthy Wilson of Texas, Ruby Ollison of Texas, Alberta Shephard of New Mexico, Emma Archie of New Mexico, Anesta Champion of New Mexico and Jossie Jackson of New Mexico.
