We are sad to announce that, on April 8, 2025, at the age of 92, John H. Whitney of Amarillo, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Whitney and Harriet Whitney; and his wife Frances Whitney. He is survived by: his children, David Fetherlin (Sheila) of Las Cruces, NM and Karen Allen (Michael) of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Fetherlin, Greg Fetherlin (Kimberley), Rebekah Fetherlin and Paul Allen (Autumn); and his great grandchildren, Alex, Reagan, Brianna, Carsyn, Liam, Scott, Logan and Isaac.
