It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Hornsby of Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on August 31, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her niece Jatawn Wells. She is survived by: her siblings, Jay Lane of Stratford, Judy, Archie Scribner and Jed Lane of Dumas; and her nieces and nephews, Jana, Brandy Pasley of Canyon, TX, Deana, Kent Holman of Bartlesville, OK, Justin, Shannon Lane of Morse, Brent and Pam Lane of Keller, TX.
Our family was also recipients of her medical advice, whether in the form of a text with her latest research (She told us months and months before COVID-19 hit that it was heading to the States and we'd better stock up on toilet paper. We should have listened), or via a shared Facebook article…Joy loved Facebook.
